About Dry Skin

Dry’ is used to describe a skin type that produces less sebum than normal skin. As a result of the lack of sebum, dry skin lacks the lipids that it needs to retain moisture and build a protective shield against external influences. This leads to an impaired barrier function. 

 

A lack of moisture within the skin can present in different ways, from roughness, scaling, and small cracks to redness, inflammation, constant tightness and itching. However, this will differ depending on the severity of dryness.

Below I have listed a few of my favourite products for Dry Skin, in order of how you would apply them in the Morning and Evening.

 

A home care routine doesn't have to be over complicated, just a few key products that suit your skin type will have big effects.
