About Combination Skin
Combination skin is simply having oily skin in some areas of your face and dry skin in other areas. Typically, there’s a mix of oily and dry areas on different parts of your face, with the t-zone (forehead, nose, and chin) usually being slightly to very oily.
A few factors can contribute to combination skin, genetics, medication, change in hormones through the pill, pregnancy or menopause and also the skincare you’re using can absolutely make it worse or even cause the problem.
Using the right skincare and getting a good balance is important. Lots of people tend to try and use stronger products on the whole face to treat the oily areas but this can sensitise and dry out the other areas.
Below I have listed a few of my favourite products for Combination Skin, in order of how you would apply them in the Morning and Evening.
A home care routine doesn't have to be over complicated, just a few key products that suit your skin type will have big effects.
